Kanał Zero reaches one billion YouTube views

The Polish YouTube channel Kanał Zero has surpassed one billion views in 2026, reaching this milestone nearly three months earlier than it did in the previous year. CEO Krzysztof Stanowski announced the achievement on X, noting that the previous record set on December 31 during an election year seemed unbeatable.

Since its launch in late 2023, the channel has grown to 2.37 million subscribers and has amassed a total of approximately 2.4 billion views across its 15,000 uploaded materials. Stanowski suggested that the accelerated growth may be partly attributed to YouTube's updated view-counting policy implemented in August, which now counts a view as soon as playback begins or a stream is joined, rather than requiring 30 seconds of watch time.

Stanowski also addressed the channel's status as a mainstream medium, noting that its significant reach increasingly places it in the same league as traditional media outlets. He observed that content driving public indignation often contributes to the channel's high viewership levels.
