Kanahei releases nostalgic Heisei-style LINE stickers

Illustrator Kanahei has released a new collaboration of animated LINE stickers featuring the characters ‘Kanahei no Shoanbutsu’ and ‘Poinko,’ the mascot for d Point Club. The stickers are designed to evoke nostalgia for the Heisei era, specifically mimicking the ‘deco-mail’ style used on mobile phones during that period.

The collection includes colorful, dot, and stripe-patterned text and animations such as ‘Chobeliba’ and ‘Inquiry in progress,’ which reflect the customizable screen aesthetics of vintage feature phones.
