Kanahei releases nostalgic Heisei-style LINE stickers

Illustrator Kanahei has released a new collaboration of animated LINE stickers featuring the characters ‘Kanahei no Shoanbutsu’ and ‘Poinko,’ the mascot for d Point Club. The stickers are designed to evoke nostalgia for the Heisei era, specifically mimicking the ‘deco-mail’ style used on mobile phones during that period.

The collection includes colorful, dot, and stripe-patterned text and animations such as ‘Chobeliba’ and ‘Inquiry in progress,’ which reflect the customizable screen aesthetics of vintage feature phones. The ‘Moving Deco-Stamps ☆ Kanahei x Poinko’ can be obtained for free by adding the d Point Club official account as a friend through September 14, 2026. Additionally, a separate set of LINE stickers recreating Kanahei’s classic Heisei-era wallpaper art is currently available for purchase.
