Kanal D announces new season of ‘Asta-i România!’

A new season of the television program ‘Asta-i România!’, hosted by Mihai Ghiţă on Kanal D, is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, August 30. The show, which has been running for 15 years, focuses on reporting on Romanian realities, local traditions, and notable individuals.

The season premiere will feature the story of Viorica Olivotto from Argeș County, a woman recognized as a ‘living human treasure’ for her expertise as a creator of folk costumes and an instructor for children. The episode will also highlight a couple, Mihai and Romina, who live a simple life in a location they call ‘Vraja din deal’ in Bihor, near the Apuseni Mountains.
