Kanal D program ‘Asta-i România!’ to feature stories on faith and poverty

The television program ‘Asta-i România!’ will broadcast a new episode on Kanal D this Sunday at 14:30, hosted by Mihai Ghiță. The episode features two human-interest stories regarding social and spiritual realities in Romania.

The first segment explores faith and healing at the Pantocrator Monastery in Drăgănești-Vlașca, Teleorman County. It documents pilgrims seeking solace through prayer and the veneration of relics, including those of Saint Basil the Great, which were brought from Greece, and Saint Mary Magdalene.

The second segment highlights extreme poverty in Ialomița County, following a family of six living in precarious conditions. The reportage focuses on the struggles of a mother and father attempting to provide for their four children as the new school year approaches.
