Kanala Beach highlights creative rice cuisine in Gautegiz-Arteaga

Kanala Beach, located in Gautegiz-Arteaga within the Urdaibai environment, focuses on creative cuisine centered on high-quality products. Under the direction of executive chef Jon Otxandio, the restaurant offers two distinct dining spaces: an elegant gastronomic dining room and an outdoor terrace.

The restaurant has gained recognition for its rice dishes, which were developed through a culinary collaboration between Otxandio and rice specialist César Marquiegui. The menu features various preparations using Molino Roca rice, including dry rice dishes with ingredients such as carabineros, red prawns, monkfish, and venison, as well as creamy rice versions featuring sea bass, squid, and artichokes.
