Kanasín has launched its patriotic festivities with the inauguration of the Feria Patria at the Alfonso Palma field. Mayor Edwin Bojórquez Ramírez opened the event, which offers 14 mechanical rides free of charge to families from September 14 to 20.

The fair aims to promote community integration and ensure that economic factors do not prevent residents from participating in local traditions. Attractions include various rides for all ages, ranging from children's carousels to high-adrenaline options like the Kamikaze and Chaos, all operating under safety protocols. The fair is open daily from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and the municipality has also scheduled the Independence Day ceremony at the Municipal Palace.
