Kanazawa hosts 17th annual A Cappella Town festival

The Kanazawa A Cappella Town 2026 festival has commenced in central Kanazawa, featuring musical performances across 12 venues, including Kanazawa Station Motenashi Dome and Katamachi Kirara Plaza.

Now in its 17th year, the event has grown significantly, with 173 groups participating—an increase of 51 groups compared to the previous year. The festival includes nine street stages and an opening ceremony featuring the professional a cappella group 8Law. Scheduled activities include a competition for the final stage and a new “Breakin Stage” event.
