Kanchanaburi police investigate disappearance of Thai woman

Police in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, are investigating the disappearance of 33-year-old Wichuda, also known as Lukpla, who has been missing since the evening of August 28.

According to family members and CCTV footage, Wichuda drove her sedan to a relative's home, where she was later seen leaving in a white pickup truck driven by her boyfriend, Nut. Despite the footage showing them together, Nut reportedly told Wichuda's mother that he had not seen her for over a month. After being confronted with the video evidence, Nut allegedly blocked the mother on all communication channels.

Wichuda's mother, Chantra, expressed concern that her daughter may be in danger, noting that the couple had a history of volatile arguments and physical violence. Wichuda's 10-year-old son reported that his last contact with her was on the evening of the disappearance, when she mentioned traveling to another province for errands.

Investigators from the Lat Ya Police Station are currently tracing the movements of the white pickup truck, which was last spotted in Chiang Mai province. As of now, neither Wichuda nor Nut have been located.
