Kandi Burruss discusses healing through new stage production
Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur Kandi Burruss is using her new stage production, ‘I Do, I Did, I’m Done’, as a medium for personal healing following her divorce.
During an appearance on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show, Burruss explained that the live production combines music, audience interaction, and behind-the-scenes footage to discuss themes of love, heartbreak, and moving on. She noted that creativity has served as her therapy for processing life's challenges.
Burruss also addressed her experience with co-parenting, stating that while the process was initially difficult, she and her ex-husband remain committed to protecting their children. She expressed a continued focus on her professional goals, including a desire to win a Tony Award.
