Kane Cornes to run double marathon for Telethon fundraiser
AFL legend and broadcaster Kane Cornes is undertaking a marathon challenge to raise funds for Telethon. The ambassador plans to run two marathons within five days in Perth.
The first marathon will take place at the Perth Running Festival, followed four days later by the Rotto Run for Telethon. Cornes will be joined by several figures, including Western Australian Premier Roger Cook. Commentator Luke Hodge is also participating by skydiving over Rottnest during the second run.
The total funds raised from the challenge will be announced during the 59th annual Telethon, scheduled for October 17-18 at RAC Arena.
