Kane Cornes to run two marathons for Telethon charity

AFL legend and broadcaster Kane Cornes is undertaking a dual marathon challenge to raise funds for sick children in Western Australia. As a Telethon ambassador, Cornes will participate in the sold-out Perth Running Festival marathon this Sunday.

Four days after the Perth event, he will complete a second 42km marathon around Rottnest Island. The Perth Running Festival has raised over $600,000 for Telethon during its first three years. Cornes, an experienced distance runner, stated that the decision to participate was driven by the vital programs, services, and research Telethon provides to families in need.
