Kanebo and SMOOTHY LAND announce upcoming beauty-focused events in Japan

Kanebo Cosmetics is celebrating its 90th anniversary through a collaboration with Shimogamo Shrine and Kawai Shrine. The “Beauty Experience” event, scheduled for November 28, 2026, will feature skin lessons, special prayers, and the offering of mirror-shaped votive tablets (ema). Special colored mirror ema will be available starting November 1, and limited edition stamps (goshuin) will be offered at Kawai Shrine from November 28, 2026, through January 31, 2027.

Separately, the skincare brand SMOOTHY LAND, operated by World One Beauty, is hosting a three-day pop-up event at head CONCIERGE Jingumae in Tokyo from September 20 to September 22, 2026. The event focuses on products utilizing frankincense sourced from the Dhofar region of Oman. The pop-up aims to allow customers to experience the scents and textures of the brand’s skincare line, including facial mists and masks, while learning about the origins of their natural ingredients.
