Kangin to make first South Korean public appearance in seven years

Kangin, a former member of the K-pop group Super Junior, is set to appear at a domestic official event for the first time in approximately seven years. He is scheduled to attend the GREEDILOUS show at the 2027 S/S Seoul Fashion Week held at Lotte World Tower in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on the 4th.

Following his departure from Super Junior in July 2019, Kangin had largely ceased activities within South Korea due to various controversies, including assault and multiple drunk driving incidents. While he has recently maintained a presence through international fan meetings in locations such as the Philippines, Vietnam, and Mexico, and released a digital single in April, this appearance marks a significant potential step toward resuming his career in the domestic Korean entertainment industry.
