Kangwon Land launches AI‑focused ‘AX Leader’ program to drive digital transformation

Kangwon Land has begun a company‑wide AI transformation initiative aligned with the government’s AI‑digital conversion policy. The firm selected “AX leaders” from every department based on their familiarity with work processes, held a kickoff meeting on July 2, and conducted intensive training from July 14 that showcased the latest generative‑AI tool “Vibe coding.”

On July 24 the company invited Saltlux CEO Lee Kyung‑il to speak on “AI Surge and the Future of Public Services,” exposing staff to emerging generative‑AI trends and discussing customized AX applications for Kangwon Land. According to AI‑Digital Innovation Director Lee Kyoung‑sik, the program is intended to empower frontline employees to use AI for both modest workflow improvements and large‑scale process innovation, strengthening the firm’s overall digital competitiveness.

The initiative aims to embed an AI‑centric culture throughout the organization, moving beyond simple technology adoption to make data‑driven decision‑making a core corporate capability.
