Kangwon Land launches innovation committee to reform management

Kangwon Land has launched the Organizational Diagnosis and Innovation Committee to address management issues accumulated during a prolonged period of leadership vacancy. The committee held its first kickoff meeting to establish an operational plan focused on three core tasks to be completed by the end of the year.

The three primary objectives include improving organizational and personnel systems, reviewing the feasibility of major policy projects such as the K-HIT project, and enhancing organizational culture and working methods.

To ensure both expertise and field-level perspectives, the committee includes external experts and internal representatives from various demographics, including the labor union, female employees, and young staff. The committee is co-chaired by Kim Chang-jin, a research fellow at the University of Seoul, and Kim Dae-jung, head of Kangwon Land’s innovation task force. CEO Kim Do-gyun stated that the initiative aims to conduct a cold assessment of the organization to implement practical changes that employees and customers can feel.
