Kania ramen noodles recalled in Spain due to undeclared milk
The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN) has issued an alert regarding Kania brand 'Kit Ramen Curry (Japanese Style)' noodles due to undeclared milk. The product, sold in 243-gram flexible plastic bags, fails to list milk or its derivatives on the label, posing a health risk to individuals with milk allergies or intolerances.
While initial distribution was detected in Galicia, authorities noted that the product may have reached other autonomous communities. The alert was processed through the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF/SCIRI) to ensure the removal of affected batches from commercial channels.
Consumers with milk allergies are advised to refrain from consuming the product and can return it to the point of sale for a refund. The product is considered safe for the general population without milk sensitivities.
