Kannada Star Yash's Film 'Toxic' Scheduled for August 26, 2026 Release

Kannada superstar Yash will star in the highly anticipated film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown‑Ups, directed by award‑winning filmmaker Gita Mohandas. The movie is being produced by KVN Productions and Yash’s own Monster Mind Creations and will be released in six languages – Kannada, Hindi, English, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.

A new poster released by the makers shows Yash in two distinct avatars named “Raya” and “Ticket”. The film’s worldwide theatrical release has been confirmed for 26 August 2026, a date chosen to coincide with major festivals such as Onam, Eid and Raksha Bandhan. Earlier release plans had slated the film for 19 March 2026, then 4 June 2026, before being moved to the current August slot.
