Kannai Hall to host Bashamichi Hidamari Christmas Concert

The Bashamichi Hidamari Concert Vol. 57, themed ‘A Christmas Full of Warmth,’ is scheduled to take place at Kannai Hall on December 3, 2026. This concert series, which has been held regularly since 2011, features artists from the Yokohama Civic Hall Orchestra.

The performance will include a mix of classical music, nursery rhymes, and Christmas songs. Featured performers include soprano Yumi Taguchi, violinist Yumiko Ohori, flutist Mai Morinaga, and pianists Yumi Sato and Emiko Tomita. The program includes pieces such as ‘Ave Maria’ and ‘Amazing Grace,’ as well as a segment where the audience can sing along to songs like ‘Fuyugeshiki’ and ‘Joy to the World.’

The event is organized by Kannai Hall and the Yokohama Civic Hall Orchestra, with co-sponsorship from Yamaha Music Japan. Tickets are priced at 1,000 yen for reserved seating.
