Kannai Hall to host Rakugo performance by Shunpuutei Shouyou and Sanyutei Gohan-tsubu

Kannai Hall will host the 14th installment of the ‘Kannai Yose: The Path to Shin'uchi’ series on December 9, 2026. The performance features two Yokohama-born Rakugo performers, Shunpuutei Shouyou and Sanyutei Gohan-tsubu, as they work toward their advancement to the ‘Shin'uchi’ rank.

Shunpuutei Shouyou, originally from Asahi Ward, is scheduled to be promoted to Shin'uchi in April 2027. Sanyutei Gohan-tsubu, from Midori Ward, is a recent winner of the National Young Rakugo Performer Championship. The event will take place at the Kannai Hall Small Hall, with tickets priced at 2,000 yen in advance and 2,500 yen on the day of the performance.
