Kannauj police seize 10 kg of gold after expressway collision

Police in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, recovered approximately 10 kilograms of gold following a vehicle collision on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway. The incident occurred late at night when a police vehicle, returning from Kanwar Yatra duty, collided with a car in the Talgram police station area.

Upon inspecting the car after the accident, officers discovered a bag containing ten gold biscuits. Two individuals from the vehicle have been taken into custody for questioning. Authorities have notified the customs department to investigate the source and legality of the gold, and officials are currently verifying the exact weight and purity of the recovered metal.
