Kano Hisbah Board arrests TikToker Ukasha Yahaya

The Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested TikTok content creator Ukasha Yahaya, known as ‘UK International’, for producing videos deemed to violate religious and moral values. The 27-year-old was apprehended after intelligence indicated his entry into Kano.

The controversial videos allegedly depict Yahaya dancing, hugging, carrying, swimming, and bathing with women. During interrogation, Yahaya stated that the women featured in his content approached him due to his popularity. He noted that some clips had garnered between one and three million views.

Yahaya, who resides in Abuja and hails from Zamfara State, apologized for his actions and expressed intentions to stop creating such content as he prepares for marriage. Deputy Commander General Mujahid Aminuddeen confirmed that Yahaya remains in custody and will face court charges following the conclusion of the investigation.
