Kaduna infrastructure projects receive praise from NANS

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has commended the Kaduna State Government for its extensive infrastructure and vocational training initiatives. During a recent inspection of various projects, NANS President Akinteye Babatunde Afeez praised the administration’s investments in education, healthcare, transportation, and sports.

Specifically, student leaders highlighted the modern vocational skills centres, which have reportedly produced approximately 4,000 graduates across the state’s three senatorial districts. The facilities include workshops for carpentry, solar technology, and woodwork, aimed at complementing classroom education with practical skills.

Other notable projects mentioned include the rehabilitation of the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, the construction of the Kabala Costain-Aliyu Makama Link Road, and the development of high-standard medical facilities such as the 300-bed hospital. NANS urged Kaduna youths to protect these assets, noting their importance for future mobility and economic productivity.
