Kanpur woman accused of attacking brother-in-law following family dispute

A violent domestic dispute in the Sajeeti police station area of Kanpur has left a man seriously injured. The incident reportedly began as a disagreement over children being beaten, which escalated into a physical confrontation between a woman and her brother-in-law.

According to local reports, the woman allegedly bit the man's private parts during the altercation. The victim was initially taken to the Ghatampur Community Health Centre but was later referred to Hallet Hospital in Kanpur due to the severity of his injuries, where he reportedly required 55 stitches.

Police have registered a case following a complaint filed by the victim's wife. Assistant Commissioner of Police (Ghatampur) Krishnakant Yadav confirmed that an investigation is underway to verify the circumstances of the attack and the specific allegations made in the complaint.
