Kanro holds one‑day “Ame and Gumi” candy festival in Shibuya

Kanro Corp. staged a one‑day, limited‑time event titled “Ame and Gumi only!? Summer Festival” on July 25, 2026 at OPENBASE SHIBUYA in Tokyo’s Shibuya district. The company’s staff, dressed in pink T‑shirts, served as on‑site hosts and offered free interactive experiences alongside a kitchen‑car menu of three exclusive treats – a gummi‑soda topped with Kanro candy, a PuréGumi‑styled “Tanful” candy, and a “Kanro takoyaki” that hides candy and nuts inside.

Visitors could try a “senbonbiki” draw for a chance to win regular Kanro sweets or unreleased items such as the new “Jururu” series. An up‑cycled badge‑fishing game repurposed packaging waste into collectible pins, and a large PuréGumi sculpture with a curve‑mirror photo booth attracted social‑media posts.
