Kansai International Airport restaurant offers 19,250-yen Kobe beef sandwiches

Kobist, a new “luxury fast food” restaurant at Kansai International Airport in Osaka, is offering high-end Kobe beef steak sandwiches priced at 19,250 yen (approximately US$120).

The establishment, located in Terminal 1 past international security, aims to provide travelers with a quick way to experience authentic Kobe beef even if they have limited time before a flight. The venture is operated by Bifteck Kawamura, a Kobe steak specialist established in 1972 that also maintains locations in Tokyo’s Ginza and Roppongi districts.
