Kansai International Airport to host Sky Day Festival 2026
Kansai Airports has announced that the “Kansai International Airport Sky Day Festival 2026” will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The event aims to deepen public understanding and interest in aviation and airport operations.
The festival will take place across two main venues: the Kansai Airport Station concourse/South Plaza and the “Sky View” observation hall. A total of 24 organizations, including airlines such as ANA, JAL, Starflyer, Peach, and Jetstar Japan, as well as various administrative and airport-related agencies, will host booths featuring uniform experiences, merchandise sales, and exhibitions.
Special programming includes stage events such as drug detection dog demonstrations, musical performances, and character appearances. At the “Sky View” venue, visitors can view specialized airport vehicles. Additionally, exclusive backyard tours are planned, including a control tower corridor tour organized by the Osaka Civil Aviation Bureau and a tour of airfield roads and fire facilities, some of which require advance application.
