Kansai Paint to acquire full ownership of Polisan Kansai Boya

The Turkish Competition Authority (Rekabet Kurulu) has approved the transfer of Marmara Holding’s 50 percent stake in Polisan Kansai Boya to Japan-based Kansai Paint Co., Ltd. This approval fulfills a critical legal prerequisite for the transaction.

Under the share transfer agreement signed on July 29, 2026, Marmara Holding will sell its entire 50 percent interest for a total cash consideration of 93 million USD. Once the transfer is finalized, Kansai Paint will become the sole owner of the paint manufacturer, which has been active in the Turkish market since 1985.

Marmara Holding announced that preparations for an extraordinary general assembly meeting will begin to conclude the process. The transaction is expected to be completed within October 2026.
