Kansas City Chiefs face injury concerns ahead of Seahawks matchup

The undefeated Kansas City Chiefs (5-0) are managing significant roster challenges heading into their Sunday Night Football game against the Seattle Seahawks. The team has dealt with a wave of injuries, particularly on the offensive line and in the receiving corps. Wide receiver Rashee Rice and offensive tackle Jaylon Moore have been ruled out, with Rice sidelined by a hamstring injury and Moore entering concussion protocol. Additionally, running back Brashard Smith has been placed on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury.

Defensive players L’Jarius Sneed and Cooper McDonald are listed as questionable due to knee issues. Sneed also faces a fine from the NFL for a late hit during a recent game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Meanwhile, head coach Andy Reid has expressed confidence in backup offensive tackle Joshua Ezeudu to fill the void left by Moore.

On the offensive side, running back Kenneth Walker III, who signed with the Chiefs after leaving Seattle, is a focal point of the matchup. Tight end Travis Kelce also nears several career milestones, including the potential to surpass Tony Gonzalez for the most receiving yards by a tight end in NFL history, including the postseason.
