Kansas City Royals outright five pitchers to Triple-A

The Kansas City Royals have outrighted five right-handed pitchers to Triple-A Omaha, clearing space on the team's 40-man roster. The players involved are Alex Lange, Mason Black, Connor Seabold, Alec Marsh, and Easton McGee.

Following the moves, Connor Seabold, Alec Marsh, and Easton McGee have elected free agency. Alex Lange is also eligible to enter the open market. Mason Black remains with the organization but has been moved to the Triple-A roster.

The roster adjustments come as the club prepares for the 2027 season following a 69-93 record. These moves are part of a broader period of roster management involving the injured list, the Rule 5 draft, and the need to protect specific players from selection.
