Kansas defeats Baylor 25-24 following late field goal block

The Kansas Jayhawks secured their first Big 12 victory of the season with a 25-24 win over the Baylor Bears. Trailing by double digits entering the fourth quarter, Kansas rallied to take a one-point lead with 1:13 remaining in the game.

Isaiah Marshall led the offensive comeback, accounting for three touchdowns with two passing scores and a 15-yard touchdown run that capped a 71-yard drive. Following Marshall's score, Baylor drove to the 27-yard line to attempt a 45-yard field goal with 23 seconds left.

Defensive tackle Blake Herold blocked the field goal attempt to preserve the win. Herold, who had previously tipped two other field goal attempts earlier in the game, redirected the kick toward the sidelines to seal the victory for the Jayhawks.
