Kansas State University and Colorado State University soccer teams played to a 2-2 draw at the CSU Soccer Field. The result extends Kansas State’s unbeaten streak to eight matches, setting a new program record.
Colorado State took an early lead in the 33rd minute when Sydney Torres scored following a corner kick. Kansas State mounted a late comeback in the final minutes of the match. Emerson DeLuca scored her first career goal from over 25 yards out in the 87th minute, followed quickly by Gabby DeMers, who scored in the 87th minute to give the Wildcats a 2-1 lead. However, Colorado State’s Mia Casey scored just 20 seconds later to equalize the game.
Colorado State goalkeeper Addison Huber faced 18 shots during the match, providing significant defensive support for the Rams despite the late goals.
