Kansas State defeats Tulane 31-20 to improve to 3-0

Kansas State defeated Tulane 31-20 in Manhattan, Kansas, moving to a 3-0 record for the season. Quarterback Avery Johnson led the Wildcats with 227 passing yards on 21-of-28 attempts and 152 rushing yards, including two touchdowns.

After trailing early following Tulane's first offensive touchdown, Kansas State scored 17 consecutive points to take control. Jay Harris contributed two rushing touchdowns, while Jaron Tibbs recorded nine catches for 114 yards.

Tulane, which fell to 1-2, was held to 260 total yards. Kadin Semonza completed 13 of 26 passes for 165 yards and one touchdown for the Green Wave.
