Kansas State defeats UCF volleyball in Big 12 opener

The UCF volleyball team lost its Big 12 Conference opener to the Kansas State Wildcats in five sets, with scores of 25-18, 25-22, 24-26, 13-25, and 10-15. Despite holding a two-set lead, the Knights were unable to maintain momentum after the third set.

Following a strong performance at the Stacey Clark Classic, Avah Armour and Abby Schomers were named to the All-Tournament team. Armour has been a consistent performer, ranking seventh in the Big 12 in points per set and tenth in kills per set. Schomers currently ranks second in the conference for assists per set.
