Kansas State prepares to host Tulane in Week 3 matchup

The Kansas State Wildcats are set to face the Tulane Green Wave in a Week 3 matchup at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan, Kansas. Kansas State enters the game with a 2-0 record, having outscored Nicholls and Washington State by a combined total of 105-10.

Tulane holds a 1-1 record following a recent 28-24 win over South Alabama. The Green Wave is navigating a period of transition under new head coach Will Hall, following the departure of Jon Sumrall to Florida.

Kansas State quarterback Avery Johnson, who has recorded 391 passing yards and six touchdowns through the first two weeks, is expected to face a Tulane defense that recently allowed 296 passing yards to South Alabama's Bishop Davenport. This game serves as the final nonconference matchup for the Wildcats before they begin Big 12 play.
