Kanto Gakuin University partners with Jonan Shingaku Kenkyusha for exam prep
Kanto Gakuin University and Jonan Shingaku Kenkyusha have entered into a business entrustment agreement to launch an online learning support program titled ‘KGU Essay and Interview School’. The program utilizes ‘Suisen Lab’, an online entrance exam preparation system developed by Jonan Shingaku Kenkyusha. This marks the first time ‘Suisen Lab’ has been adopted as an official university program.
The initiative targets third-year high school students at specific designated high schools who are considering enrollment at Kanto Gakuin University. Running from August to November, the program provides systematic preparation for early-admission exams, which now account for 53.6% of university admissions in Japan according to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
Through the program, students will receive support for statement of purpose writing, essay composition, and interview preparation. The curriculum combines web-based learning and AI-driven corrections with individual online guidance from professional instructors. The collaboration aims to reduce the burden on high school teachers while helping students better align their academic interests with their chosen university courses to prevent post-enrollment mismatches.
