Kanye West denies fake text messages endorsing Rocket Rese

Kanye West, also known as Ye, has issued a denial regarding leaked text messages appearing to show him praising the music of independent New York rapper Rocket Rese.

Rese had shared screenshots on his Instagram Story featuring a conversation with a contact labeled “Ye.” The messages included praise such as “This the best we will get” and “I believe in you, kid,” alongside an announcement for an upcoming album release on October 16.

West addressed the circulating images on X, stating, “This is not real.” This incident follows previous instances of disputed communications involving the artist, including a fake screenshot from March 2025 regarding Playboi Carti.
