Kanye West, operating under the Yeezy label, posted an Instagram Story on August 2 showing an early look at a new all‑black sneaker dubbed the Yeezy 800. The shoe features a layered construction of mesh, leather and suede‑like panels, a chunky sole and exposed mid‑sole mesh, giving it a rugged, industrial aesthetic. Alongside the runner, West also previewed several military‑style boots.

The reveal comes as Yeezy prepares to re‑enter the retail market after a four‑year hiatus, with the brand slated to launch its YZY Slides through JD Stores later this month. No official release date or price has been announced for the Yeezy 800 or the boots, but the preview signals an expansion of West’s independent footwear line following his split from Adidas in 2022.
