Kaohung District Prosecutors Office opens recruitment for prosecutor assistants

The Kaohsiung District Prosecutors Office has announced an open recruitment process for prosecutor assistants for the 116th year. The initiative aims to strengthen the manpower of prosecutorial agencies and enhance the capacity to combat crime, specifically in alignment with the Executive Yuan’s “New Generation Anti-Fraud Strategy Action Plan 2.0.”

The office plans to recruit six individuals. Eligible candidates must be graduates of law-related departments or have completed credits in major legal subjects. Since 2025, the office has recruited 36 assistants with diverse backgrounds, including lawyers and specialists in electrical engineering, applied Japanese, and business administration, as well as former police officers and prosecutors.

The selection process consists of two stages: a written examination scheduled for November 30, 2026, and an oral examination on December 16, 2026. Applications are being accepted via in-person or mail-in submission until November 9. Once hired, assistants will support prosecutors in tasks such as investigation review, prosecution, evidence analysis, legal research, and case management.
