Kaolack rally supports President Bassirou Diomaye Faye

Ndeye Fatou Guedel Mbodj, a founding member of the presidential majority party Kiiraay, organized a large-scale political gathering in Kaolack titled ‘Sargal Diomaye’ to support President Bassirou Diomaye Faye.

The event, held at the Mbolomi field in Kasnack, saw significant mobilization from women and youth. Beyond political support, the gathering focused on social empowerment; Mbodj, who also leads the Network of Women and Youth for the Development of Senegal (RFJDS), oversaw the distribution of certificates to 500 women who completed training programs. Additionally, checks were awarded to winners of a competition for first-time entrepreneurs.

During her address, Mbodj called for unity among Kiiraay leaders in the Kaolack department, urging them to overcome internal differences to build a common political dynamic. She also encouraged former Pastef militants to join the party. The organizers indicated that these efforts are intended to strengthen the party's local presence and prepare for the 2029 political horizon.
