Kapadokya Area Directorate Launches Online Permit System
The Kapadokya Area Directorate in Turkey has expanded its digital platform to accept online applications for a wide range of permits, including architectural projects, renovation works, building usage, gender‑change requests, simple repairs, site status and registration, pre‑excavation cleaning, and drilling and excavation permits. Applicants can upload required documents, pay fees through a virtual point‑of‑sale system, and receive a reference number to monitor the progress of their request. Status updates are provided instantly online and via SMS, eliminating the need to visit the directorate in person.
The directorate says the new system aims to improve accessibility, speed, and transparency of public services while supporting the protection of the region’s cultural and historical heritage through modernized administration.
