Kapaklı State Hospital opens in Tekirdağ amidst major health industry investments

Turkish Ministers Kemal Memişoğlu (Health) and Mehmet Fatih Kacır (Industry and Trade) attended the opening ceremony of the Kapaklı State Hospital in Tekirdağ. Located within the Çerkezköy Organized Industrial Zone (ÇOSB), the new facility spans approximately 20,000 square meters and provides a 115-bed capacity to serve the local population.

During the event, Minister Kacır announced that 64 billion lira in investments has been mobilized in the health industry over the past year through 102 incentive certificates, creating 3,244 qualified jobs. He noted that under the Technology-Oriented Industrial Move Program, 36 investment projects exceeding 23 billion lira are being supported, including five strategic projects currently being implemented in Tekirdağ.

Minister Memişoğlu emphasized Turkey's transition toward a model of producing its own health technologies and biological treatments. He highlighted the country's growing capabilities in independent health technology and local pharmaceutical production.
