Kapela Municipality opens first local kindergarten

The Veseli Planet kindergarten has officially opened in Novi Skucani, marking the first preschool facility in the Kapela Municipality. The project, which cost nearly one million euros, was funded through the Republic of Croatia's Rural Development Program 2014–2020.

The new 853.77-square-meter building includes three kindergarten groups and one nursery group, providing a total capacity for 72 children. The facility aims to allow local children to receive early childhood education within their own community rather than traveling to Bjelovar. Additionally, the project is expected to create 16 new jobs.
