Kapfenberg driver hurt after medical emergency causes crash into house

A driver in Kapfenberg, Austria, suffered a medical emergency on Friday morning, lost control of his car and drove off the road, crashing into the wall of a house. The injured driver was treated on site by the Red Cross before being taken to hospital. The Kapfenberg-Diemlach volunteer fire department, together with police, secured the scene and completed the rescue operations within about half an hour.

Similar incidents have been reported recently in Styria, including a June crash in Vorau where a driver also lost control due to a medical issue and collided with a residential wall.
