Kapitan Andreevo and Kalotina border crossings report heavy traffic

Heavy traffic has been reported at the Kapitan Andreevo border crossing with Turkey, specifically affecting the entrance for light vehicles, and at the Kalotina crossing with Serbia for exiting light vehicles.

According to the Bulgarian Border Police, traffic remains normal at borders with Greece, North Macedonia, and Romania. However, several ferry services on the Danube are facing disruptions. The Silistra-Kichu ferry service has temporarily suspended operations due to a technical malfunction. Additionally, the Oryahovo-Becket and Svishtov-Zimnice ferry connections remain closed due to low water levels in the Danube River.

Traffic through the Ruse-Giurgiu bridge has returned to normal following the completion of repairs.
