Kaplice opens wooden marble track in Kaštanka park

The town of Kaplice will inaugurate a new wooden marble track in Kaštanka park on Saturday, 18 July, at 15:00. The attraction was the top‑voted project in the local participatory budget, chosen by residents to be built during the summer holidays.

The track, constructed from wood to blend with the park setting, will let families roll wooden marbles, hold races, and enjoy communal play. A marble‑selling kiosk will offer the wooden marbles at 20 CZK each. Officials say the facility aims to provide a fresh outdoor recreation option for children and adults alike. The municipality also plans to complete a natural playground elsewhere in the town this year.
