Kappa Sushi to launch customizable mini acai bowls

Kappa Sushi, a revolving sushi chain under the Colowide Group, is launching a limited-time “Customizable Mini Acai Bowl” starting September 3, 2026. The product launch coincides with “Acai Day” on September 16 and will be available at all nationwide locations until September 16.

The customizable bowls allow customers to select from five different toppings, including whipped cream, granola, mango pulp, white peach sauce, and strawberry sauce. Additional options such as chocolate pens and honey are also available. The chain will also offer standard versions, including a classic mini acai bowl with granola and strawberries.

In conjunction with the product launch, the company is running the “September Waku Waku Campaign” from September 3 to September 23. Customers who spend 3,000 yen or more can enter a lottery to win prizes, including 10,000 yen in Kappa Sushi discount vouchers or premium frozen acai bowl sets. The acai used in the product is sourced from Fruta Fruta, a company known for its agroforestry initiatives.
