Karabük Holds 26th Bahaddin Gazi Commemoration Festival

Karabük’s Dede Yaylası hosted the 26th annual Bahaddin Gazi commemoration and cultural festival, resuming after a pandemic‑induced hiatus. The event was organized jointly by Karabük Municipality and the Bahaddin Gazi Education and Culture Foundation.

Local officials attended, including AK Party MPs Cem Şahin and Ali Keskinkılıç, Karabük Mayor Özkan Çetinkaya, and the foundation’s chairman Hasan Küçük. The program began with a reading of the national anthem and a Qur'an recitation, followed by speeches emphasizing the spiritual legacy of Bahaddin Gazi and the importance of cultural values for the community. Traditional hymns and a mevlit were performed, and attendees were served customary rice.

Organizers thanked the municipality for paving the Dede Yaylası road, and participants expressed messages of unity and solidarity.
