Karabük University advances Social Innovation Center plans

Karabük University is advancing the establishment of its Social Innovation Center (KASİM). During a recent meeting led by Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık, officials evaluated the center’s goals, infrastructure, and upcoming activities.

The center aims to foster social entrepreneurship and develop innovative solutions to societal problems. It is designed to facilitate collaboration between the university, the public sector, private companies, and non-governmental organizations. KASİM will provide students with opportunities to develop ideas and projects through workshops and mentorship programs.

Inspired by cultural heritages such as Ahilik and Enderun, the center intends to produce projects aligned with national values to support regional development and strengthen university-society cooperation. Preparations for the center’s corporate identity, including logo design, are nearing completion.
