Karabük University Hyperloop team reaches TEKNOFEST finals

The PARTECH Hyperloop Team from Karabük University has advanced to the finals of the TEKNOFEST competition. The team aims to develop a fifth-generation transportation system that utilizes levitation to move vehicles through air-friction-reduced tunnels at ultra-high speeds.

Team captain Emir Öztürk stated that while the team is targeting first place, their primary motivation is to introduce this visionary technology to Turkey and eventually represent the country in international competitions. The project involves multidisciplinary engineering efforts, including work on electronic battery systems, embedded infrastructure, weight optimization, and active control systems to ensure stable levitation.

Having previously won awards for levitation development and socio-economic impact, the team seeks to secure a gold medal this year to conclude their academic journey with a top-tier achievement.
