Karabük University's PARTECH Hyperloop Team wins second place in Turkey
The PARTECH Hyperloop Team, composed of students from Karabük University, has secured second place in Turkey at the TEKNOFEST 2026 Hyperloop Development Competition.
The multidisciplinary team includes students from the Electrical-Electronics, Computer, Mechanical, and Industrial Engineering departments. Their project focused on developing a vehicle utilizing Hyperloop technology, which aims to provide high-speed transportation with low friction.
During the competition, students worked on various technical aspects, including vehicle design, engineering calculations, and propulsion and control systems. Karabük University Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık congratulated the students and their academic advisors, noting that the achievement demonstrates the university’s capacity for technological production.
